Springfield Mall is the local mall in Springfield.

Description

Springfield Mall has hundreds of stores, restaurants, bars, clinics and other services in it. It's CEO is Mr. Costington. Two of its more well-known stores are the Leftorium and Lionel Hutz's law office. At one time, the mall is in a dilapidated state due to the Mayor's dad being murdered there [1] . Many major stores, like JCPenney, are run down and out of business. However, the mall is later thriving again [2]. The Mall was originally supposed to be demolished due to it being run down, but due to Homer's stupidity, as well as being intolerant of Muslims (the man in charge of the demolition crew was Muslim), the Springfield Mall's scheduled demolishment was delayed.[3]
