Lake Springfield is Springfield's lake. It is highly polluted and contains mutated fish from nuclear radiation. It is home to Blinky the Fish. It also has a waterfall. It first appears in "Gone Fishin'."

Later, in Homer Loves Flanders, Homer takes his family and Flanders' family on a trip to Lake Springfield.

In The Simpsons Movie, its is cleaned up, but then repolluted by Homer and Ploppers Waste, causing a squirrel to mutate and getting the town placed in a dome.
