A few tips when you uploading images, two types is more important an others.
- Pages on http://simpsonswiki.net/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Bad_image have images that is by a very bad quality.
- Pages on http://simpsonswiki.net/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Image_needed is missing images.
Of course it's okey to uploading other images like you doing now. /AleWi 13:50, 24 April 2013 (EDT)
- We also have Category:Low quality images for poor quality images. The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.) 14:20, 24 April 2013 (EDT)

Marking Pages for Deletion
Just a tip: When you mark a page for deletion, if it's an obvious instance of vandalism, or is so offensive it doesn't deserve to see the light of day for even one second longer than necessary (the Christina Aguilera page you recently marked qualified on both counts), it's not necessary to leave the content on the page. You can just replace everything with the {{delete|[state reason here]}} template. That way, the garbage doesn't get any extra "screen time". And it's easy enough for an administrator (such as myself) to review the history to make sure the offending page really does deserve to be deleted. Thanks!!
Belated welcome to the wiki, BTW. Keep up the good work, and if you have any questions feel free to leave a message on an admin's talk page. -- Mythigator 22:51, 2 June 2013 (EDT)
Redirects
Hi, redirects are fine to have on pages if they are shorter and still obvious. i.e. Super Nintendo is fine as a link as it still goes to the full name and it is shorter and part of the text. There's no need to "fix" redirects. Thanks, The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.) 11:06, 4 June 2013 (EDT)
Australia
Just to let you know, there's already an Australian airdates article - List of episodes in Australia. ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 15:39, 4 June 2013 (EDT)

Pages for Deletion
Thank you very much for your input. But in the interest of keeping the various discussions easier to follow, please do the following:
- Please respond to each nomination individually.
- If you want to bring one or more other articles into the discussion, please make a new nomination (as you did for Removalist) rather than incorporating it into a response to another nomination.
That said, I agree with your reasoning for removing the articles for the books listed in the Appearances tab of The Simpsons Ultra-Jumbo Rain-or-Shine Fun Book, if they don't have an appearance (or at least a mention) anywhere else in the Simpsonsverse. Please do open a nomination discussion for this one, as there's more that needs to be said about how to handle it. And no, there's no need to open a separate discussion for each book on the list. (Whew! :D) -- Mythigator (talk) 05:47, March 25, 2014 (EDT)
Featured content
Hello. Month after month I've been struggling to update the main page with new featured content as there's been a lack of decent content to add. Therefore, I'm asking everyone to nominate any decent articles, episodes, images and quotes that fit the criteria. Most importantly is the featured article and episode. However, we're also lacking comprehensive article nominations too. The worst thing is that there is usually very little voting on these, with there only being one or two votes maximum. I'm sorry to send out a mass message like this but the sitenotice seems to go unnoticed. Thanks, The Solar Dragon 08:18, May 1, 2014 (EDT)
UK
Just out of curiosity, where did you find the link to http://www.wetware.demon.co.uk/simpsons? ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 06:15, August 5, 2014 (EDT)
- I would search through old Simpsons websites and then access the UK site I found on the Wayback Machine. I cannot quite remember. Thanks for asking, though. :) Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 00:35, August 19, 2014 (EDT)
Marking as spam
Hi, when you mark a page as spam, please overwrite the entire contents of the page with the {{spam}} template. Even if it's overwritten, we can still use the history to see what the former content of the page was and make sure that it was indeed spam. Also, we'd prefer to let the spammer asshole's garbage remain viewable for as little time as can be managed. Thanks! -- Mythigator (talk) 09:47, September 19, 2014 (EDT)
- You might want to add an easy anti-spam Simpsons question for users who register for the wiki. That should reduce the spam accounts significantly. Some wikis actually do that. I'll do as you request. :) Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 09:57, September 19, 2014 (EDT)
- Pre-emptive anti-spam measures are the province of Solar and Jake. I'm sure Solar will bear your idea in mind. In the meantime, all my thanks for your assistance with the cleaning up. Cheers and Happy Simpsoning! -- Mythigator (talk) 10:45, September 19, 2014 (EDT)
Trusted
Hello, I've decided to give you Trusted rights as you're a trusted user of the wiki. If you want, you can put {{User Trusted}} on your user page now to show that you have this right. Thanks, The Solar Dragon 08:02, September 21, 2014 (EDT)
- Thanks, Solar. I'll do that right now. :) Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 12:25, September 21, 2014 (EDT)
Black space on images
Hello, I understand what you mean about the black space on images but I feel it would be better for the wiki if they're removed before you upload them. We don't need the images in "original quality" if it means there's black space. It can be cropped out. All it does it take up extra unneeded space. Could you do this in future please? Thanks, The Solar Dragon 13:54, September 21, 2014 (EDT)
