History

It was seen when Homer, Lenny, and Carl went to the Boise Astoria convention center.

Behind the Laughter

• Heavy water is water that contains a greater-than-normal proportion of deuterium atoms, as opposed to ordinary hydrogen. It was a key component in early nuclear energy research and is an essential component of some types of nuclear reactors.
• The stall's name is a pun on "heavy water" and Evian, a well-known brand of bottled water.
• Important note: While heavy water consumption has dramatic effects on plants and animals and is ultimately lethal, larger animals (including human beings) will not be harmed by occasionally drinking small amounts of heavy water.
