I'd Rather Read Than Bleed is a Bart Simpson Comics story that appears in Bart Simpson #83.

Synopsis

"Principal Skinner resorts to desperate measures get Bart to turn in a book report."

Plot

Principal Skinner locks Bart in to the Springfield Elementary School's library, and he will first comes out when he doing a book report. Edna warns Skinner for what he's done but he tells her that he knows what he's doing. Bart tries to escape from the library, he test the ventilation but there is Wille stuck, he wants to help him by giving him an audio recording of a book that he had done. Bart does not want his help, he seeing then Milhouse who says that he gives up and writes his book report and gives it to Skinner. Skinner gets a call from Agnes who want him coming home soon for she needs help so Skinner asks Bart to hurry up. Bart tries to escape through the skylight but falls and find some books that prove to be collections with Radioactive Man. Skinner gives up and releasing placing Bart so he can go home but discovers that he lock himself in and Bart says he has lots of history of Radioactive Man from graphic novels to catch up and he will write a 300 big bookreport and he tells that he loves libraries to Skinner's anger.
