Pages for deletion (PfD) is where editors discuss whether a page should be deleted. Articles listed are normally discussed for at least five days after which the deletion process proceeds based on community consensus. Then the page may be kept, merged or redirected, moved to another title or deleted.

Creating an PfD discussion

If you want to create a deletion discussion simply list in the nominations section:

New England RV-er's son

Only mentioned in one line, unnamed and not the relative or a main or recurring character so is against policy. Solar Dragon (Talk Contribs.) 14:28, 10 June 2012 (EDT)

WebkinzMania 14:45, 10 June 2012 (EDT)
Can just be mentioned on the fathers and mothers page. CJC - 92.233.187.246 11:49, 11 June 2012 (EDT)
Kinda anticipated this reaction. I tried to fill out the article a bit more, but there's really not much to go on, so delete. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 17:54, 11 June 2012 (EDT)

India Ink

Just a generic product, not a specific brand. Just like all the food articles. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 20:21, 13 June 2012 (EDT)

Agreed. Solar Dragon (Talk Contribs.) 06:08, 16 June 2012 (EDT)

List of Homer getting hurt

Pointless list, Homer gets hurt so often that it's not notable. Solar Dragon (Talk Contribs.) 06:08, 16 June 2012 (EDT)

True, that. -- Mythigator 08:52, 16 June 2012 (EDT)
Delete. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 13:59, 19 June 2012 (EDT)
I honestly think it could be a good idea, but then again... if nobody's going to do it or if it'll take forever, no. I'm leading toward a delete, but I'm not sure yet. WebkinzMania 15:49, 20 June 2012 (EDT)
I would not call it pointless. This place is a wiki, more than an encyclopedia. I think the more information about the Simpsons the better. It is true, it would take me a long time, since I am going thought every episode, comic, video game. I really have a long way. I could try again in a year, maybe in a different format. There is the couch gag list, I would not call it pointless. A clip of all the couch gag has been featured in the 500 episode, as well an Homer say D'oh!, and Homer gets hurt clip had been featured. Now, a D'oh! section, would be pointless in pictures, but Homer getting hurt is funny (as intended by the show). It can be used as a reference, and it does no bad to anyone.EximiusMx 00:23, 21 June 2012 (EDT) The again, if none notices when Homer gets hurt, then this gag is now pointless in the show, or people are just tired of it. I am a true fan, and I still love it!EximiusMx 00:28, 21 June 2012 (EDT)
I forgot to mention that there is a list of nudity. What makes it different?EximiusMx 12:52, 21 June 2012 (EDT)

Mike's House and Al's Work

Two very minor locations that are neither specifically named or actually affect the episode. --Cook879 18:13, 18 June 2012 (EDT)

Delete. Al works at the Power Plant anyways. >_> --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 00:17, 19 June 2012 (EDT)
Agreed, delete. Solar Dragon (Talk Contribs.) 14:57, 20 June 2012 (EDT)

Dukans Campaign H.Q.

Stupid redirect. Totally unneeded. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 13:59, 19 June 2012 (EDT)

It's a redirect, but whatever. Delete. WebkinzMania 15:49, 20 June 2012 (EDT)

A. Ghost

Stupid article. We shouldn't have articles for fake names. If we had articles for fake names, shouldn't there be an article for Max Power? Point is, it isn't needed. The Solar Dragon 14:56, 20 June 2012 (EDT)

Agreed. If it corresponded to a real person, it might be worth keeping around as a redirect. As it is, though, it's just a tombstone pun and therefore doesn't meet notability standards. Delete. -- Mythigator 15:12, 20 June 2012 (EDT)
Agreed. WebkinzMania 15:49, 20 June 2012 (EDT)
Agreed. Perhaps we could have a list of tombstone puns, though? They are (or were) a recurring gag. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 17:01, 20 June 2012 (EDT)
That is actually a good idea. They were fairly common in the early THOH episodes after all. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 04:16, 21 June 2012 (EDT)

Garbageman

One sentence, no images, one appearance... WebkinzMania 15:49, 20 June 2012 (EDT)

Just because the article is poor doesn't mean it should be deleted. He was voiced by a guest star so we just need to improve on the article. The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.) 15:55, 20 June 2012 (EDT)
Keep. Just needs a little spiffing up. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 17:03, 20 June 2012 (EDT)
