In The Swim is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics 134.
Plot
Mr. Burns has organized a boat cruise for employees and their families. Lisa discover there that Mr. Burns only arranged the party to waste core cases in the Springfield Channel but she can not do anything after that Burns told that everyone on the boat is now an accomplice. Burns continues to drop waste but ends up with Carl overboard but after Smithers and Lenny failed to save him jumping Homer into the lake and manages to save them. It's time to eath at the home of the Simpsons, Lisa tells Homer that he only managed to save them because he's fat and he should eat more vegetables and healthy food, but he decides instead with Bart and Barney that household bans vegetables.
Homer is at work and Mr. Burns has decided to give him a reward for having saved his life, the reward is that he will swim through the Springfield Channel and he was forced to accept the proposal. Meanwhile, it is time for lunch at the school, but Lisa has just got eggs and cheese from Marge and the school has no vegetable food in the cafeteria, so she leaving school to find something to eat. Lisa meets where Gil, which dressed up like to a carrot mascot that gives her a flyer from Seth and Munchie's Organic Vegetable Patch while Seth and Munchie dismiss him because he is taking vegetable from their plant, they offer Lisa the job instead, and she accepts it. Homer will now swim through the channel, while Jesse has dropped down a speakeasy minions in the river. Homer begins to swim and meet soon to speak whale that recognize Homer, he teased him for 30 years ago and he starts attacking Homer and he wants to stop swimming but can not for Burns dismisses him then.
Lisa has started her new job but quickly becomes thrown down in a garbage can by the mascots from the Krusty Burger where they consider that she have taken over their areas, but she will not give up but no one now wants to come near her she smells bad. Homer is close to the target then the speak whale starts to attack him again and Marge asks Burns to allow Homer to let him quit it, but he refuses. Lisa meet the mascots again and they start to bully her, Lisa becomes enraged and begins taking off her clothes mascot that she wears and begins to beating down the mascots, which is easy since they have costumes. Then Lisa took off her clothes mascot else began to roll down towards the river and it landed in the water, and the speakeasy start to chew it, which let Homer to continue to swim and he swam towards the target. Meanwhile, Homer is celebrated after the finish starts the speakeasy hunt him and the entire audience, the speakeasy has now human legs, after the core case. Simpsons eat dinner again, Bart asks what happened after the speakeasy start to hunting, but Marge announces that it is only important that everything is fine and as a carrot (Lisa's mascot clothing) rescued the family, they have started eating vegetables again, but Lisa is still sad for the rest of the family has decided that she should bear mascot clothing under the dinner.
