Russell Brand is an English actor and comedian. He will voice himself in the season 22 episode "Angry Dad - The Movie". His wife, Katy Perry, appeared in the episode "The Fight Before Christmas".

After finding out that he was asked to appear on The Simpsons, Brand statedL "Once you've gone yellow, you've made it. My ideal show would be where I have a cartoon relapse with Barney and Homer and get smashed out of my mind with them."
