Admin tips
OK, here is your crash course in adminship:
- Use the Vandalism template to warn users first: {{susbt:Vandalism|Page vandalised}} or {{subst:Vandalism}} (if it was a deleted page)
- Delete or vandalism pages you see in recent changes. Check recent changes regularly and check IP edits and new user edits most. The trusted users don't need to be checked too much.
- After a warning if a user continues to vandalise, block them for two weeks with the Reason Continued vandalism after a warning in the drop down box.
If you need any help or if you are not sure about something, contact me and I will help. The Solar Dragon 11:54, June 29, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll keep that in mind :) Effluvium talk contributions email 14:55, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Re:Tabs
The tabs are made, but I think it is best if we work on them on user pages and then implement them, as if we leave our main pages with red-tabbed links at the top, its not going to look very good. You can help me adapt Bart if you want or you can do one of the others, its up to you :) Kingcjc 17:06, July 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. I'll try and do a few now! Effluvium talk contributions email 17:16, July 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, you can move them. I can't work on it today, but I prob will tommorow Kingcjc 18:47, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Great! I've asked Solar Dragon if he's OK with me doing this - if so, I'll get to work adding the template :) Effluvium talk contributions email 19:39, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Quote Template
I don't know if you're the guy to tell about problems with the quote template, but since you're the first person I saw using it, I'll send the question your way. Anyway, the quote template seems to be messed up. The quotation marks are getting doubled (which wasn't happening before) and the close quote (that is, the one at the end) is ending up on the next line down. I first noticed it on the Treehouse of Horror XII article, then spot-checked a few other episodes that used the quote template, and they all had the same problem -- even episode articles that haven't been touched for several weeks, which tells me that the problem has to do with the template having been changed. -- Mythigator 03:12, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- I updated it, making it more efficient I guess. You don't need to put the quote marks in, it does that automatically. This is how you should set it up in future:
- {{Quote|What the quote is (no quotation marks)|Who said it (you may use links)|What episode (no links)}}
- Sorry, I should have announced something like that but I was just trying to make our new featured quote look good. ☆The Solar Dragon 08:00, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- And if you look at it now, it should all be in a line. This not only makes there less code and therefore faster loading, it also makes it work. I have fixed it. Look at it to see what i have done. ☆The Solar Dragon 08:03, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- It looks fine now, Solar. Thanks! -- Mythigator 12:09, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- On further review, it works, but you have to jump through an extra hoop or two to fix the quotes. On Treehouse of Horror V, Willie's quotation still had the closing quote on the next line after I deleted it and re-built it from scratch. It didn't get all on the same line until I went to source code view and manually took out the carriage returns inside the template. -- Mythigator 12:23, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
