The Space Marshmallow, also known as The Blob, is an intergalactic alien that came to Springfield in a meteor.

While Homer and Marge were making out in the back yard, a meteor fell from the sky, through Marge's hair, and landed in the yard. As the Simpsons looked at the meteor, it hatched, revealing the Space Marshmallow inside. Homer picked up the Space Marshmallow with a stick and decided to eat it. After a short struggle to get the Space Marshmallow to stay down, he finally succeeded. That night, while he was trying to sleep, Homer's stomach started making noises. He then got up and went into the kitchen where he ate all the food in the house. Hearing the noises, Bart went into the kitchen to find out what was going on, and Homer tried to eat Bart. Marge stopped Homer from doing so, but also found out that Homer had eaten the cat...
