Elliot Lurie (born August 19, 1948) is an American singer/musician. He received a special thanks for the albums The Simpsons Sing the Blues and The Yellow Album.

Lurie wrote the hit 1972 soft rock song Brandy which Great Grandma Bouvier claim was based on her own life.[1]

Lisa is song Brandy as a sad ballad lullaby by her Aunt Selma.[2]
