- Comic Book Guy refers to the Werewolf as "Scrappy-Doo" from Scooby-Doo.
- For the Space Alien, Comic Book Guy says that Jack Palance called and said he wanted his skin back. He then said that it reminds him of the alien in the Steven Spielberg movie, Oprah Winfrey.
- Comic Book Guy refers to Frankenstein's Monster as "Frankenberry", a reference to Franken Berry cereal.
- The Mutant Fly Creature is a reference to the movie The Fly.
