Thicker than Waters: The E! True Hollywood Story is a television special that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the family sitcom Thicker than Waters. It was shown on Tube Town.

History[edit]

The documentary reveals that actor Digby Sheridan, in sharp contrast to his pleasant and easy-going character Patrick Waters, had a temper and a foul mouth. According to the documentary's narration, Sheridan "had enormous problems with the show." He was shown frowning at a script, berating writer David Mamet, calling the script "crap", and going into a profanity-laced tirade.
