  • The episode title is a pun on the movie Three Men and a Baby.
  • The sequence where Bart's adult voice reflects on his getting a part-time job is a reference to The Wonder Years.
    • Bart's adult voice is provided by Daniel Stern, who was the narrator for The Wonder Years, speaking as main character Kevin Arnold's adult self talking about his growing-up years.
