The team consists of Nelson, Martin, Wendell, Ralph, Milhouse and leads by Principal Skinner. The cheerleading squad leads by Leopold and constins of Bart, Janey, Sherri and Terri. The team was created beacuse the state mandated that schools must have an atheletics squad. The team had first a two weeks training before their first game against Shelbyville. The game was supervised by Superintendent Chalmers and the rest of the state board of Education. At halftime had Springfield 0 points and Shelbyvillehad 40 points so the state board thought cancel the atheletics squad but Bart manage them to first watch the halftime and they like it and tell Superintendent Chalmers at he had done a good job with the team which was a decision about his future career.
