The New Bedlam Rest Home for the Emotionally Interesting, also known as New Bedlam Insane Asylum and New Bedlam Mental Hospital, is a mental institution in Springfield.
When Homer was declared insane for wearing a pink shirt to work, he was sent to New Bedlam.[1] A straightjacket from the institution was seen lying on the ground downtown.[2] Duffman once referenced Homer's being in a "loony bin".[3]
