According to EA in an interview, Tapped Out will be re-released later on in the year. In mid-June 2012, EA took the game offline to fix the server, and to fix the Springfields which experienced problems.

The Itchy & Scratchy animation cel is an animation cel from The Itchy & Scratchy Show.

After seeing it advertised on TV, Bart decided to buy the animation cel. He waited several days to receive it, buying it using Homer's credit card. When it arrived, Bart was disappointed to see that it was merely Scratchy's arm. He then took it to The Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop to see how much it was worth and was given a Mary Worth telephone in exchange for it, being the only thing that was worth it.
