The Golden Homer Award is an award given away every month to a Wikisimpsons user. To nominate users for these awards, go to Wikisimpsons:The Golden Homer Award/April 2012. Remember that the award is not only based on edit count, but quality of contributions.

Types of awards

Homer Awards

  • Platinum Homer Award - Best overall service to the Wiki over an entire year. Comes with users name engraved on a trophy image.
  • Golden Homer Award - Best overall service to the Wiki. The recipient of this award will have advertisements blocked on their account for 30 days.
  • Silver Homer Award - Second best overall service to the Wiki.
  • Bronze Homer Award - Third best overall service to the Wiki.
  • Crystal Homer Award - Good service to the Wiki for a year, given to many users.

Bart Awards (canceled)

  • Golden Bart Award - Leader of Points at the end of each month. Canceled after points system removed.

Marge Awards

  • Golden Marge Award - User who has been doing much cleanup work - given out at random.

Rules

  1. Administrators cannot win the award. The award is to encourage users and administrators are good enough. Also, many administrators edit a lot and will not make it fair for the other users.
  2. Anyone can nominate a user and vote.
  3. IPs can not be nominated.
