Jonathan Collier is a television writer, best known for his work on Monk, The Simpsons and King of the Hill. He worked as an executive producer on Mike Reiss' DVD movie, "Queer Duck: The Movie". He also worked on "Late Show with David Letterman".
Work
He co-founded of Icebox, an animation company.
He presently serves as a Consulting Producer (formerly Co-Executive Producer) of King of the Hill. Collier has received an Emmy for his work on King of the Hill
Prior to his work at King of the Hill, John Collier served as Supervising Producer for the Fox animated series The Simpsons. During his tenure with this now classic and truly revolutionary television show, he received two Emmy awards as well as two Golden Reel awards.
Mr. Collier received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College where, along with Icebox Co-Founder and Co-President of Production Rob LaZebnik, he was a writer and member of the Harvard Lampoon. He is also a graduate of the New York University Film School.
John Collier, 39, lives with his wife and two young children in the Los Angeles area. In his very infrequent spare hours, he counts home repair and painting as consuming obsessions.[1]
