Alan Moore is a British comic writer. His best-known works include Watchmen, From Hell, THe League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and V for Vendetta.

In The Simpsons, Moore appeared as himself in the episode "Husbands and Knives". His comics have also regularly appeared and/or been referred to on the show, often being seen in the background in Comic Book Guy's shop, [[The Android's Dungeon}}.
