Queens is a borough of New York City.
History[edit]
Queens was seen on a map when the contestants of Reading Digest's Patriots of Tomorrow Essay Contest in various states were seen including a regional finalist in Queens reading his entry Ding, Dong aloud.[1]
LaGuardia Airport services New York City is in Queens and Lady Gaga travels by train on the Lady Gaga Express because taking off all her jewelry to go through the mental detector toke so long she missed her flight out of LaGuardia.[2]
Flushing Meadows is part of Queens. Homer traveled to New York to retrieve his car after learning Barney abandoned it at World Trade Center. While waiting for Parking Officer Steve Grabowski to come to remove the boot, he starts to feel the need to pee. He sees a city bus going to Flushing Meadows and has a fantasy of being in Flushing Meadows which vast green field filled with flushing toilets.[3]
Superintendent Chalmers is from Utica in Upstate New York,[4] but he was born in Queens.[5]
