Springfield Desert State Park is a desert in Springfield which people can go visit. Some students of Springfield Elementary School visited the park on a field trip once.[1]

School visits

The school of Springfield Elementary visit the park every year, and Superintendent Chalmers states that every visit Skinner falls for the "rattlesnake trick", which is when a student shakes a baby rattle from behind a rock. However, Skinner states that he actually got biten by a rattlesnake one visit. Chalmers calls that day a "sick day".
