"Shaving Private Scratchy" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show. Bart and Lisa watched it on TV.
Plot
Itchy and Scratchy are soldiers fighting each other on a battlefield. Itchy jabs Scratchy in the gut with the stock of his rifle, knocking the wind out of him and making his tongue stick out to its full length. Itchy wraps the end of Scratchy's tongue around a hand grenade and yanks on Scratchy's tail, which makes Scratchy's tongue (with the grenade) retract back into Scratchy's mouth. Itchy then hides behind a row of sandbags, plugs his ears and smiles gleefully just as the grenade explodes. After the dust settles and pieces of Scratchy stop raining down, Scratchy's headless corpse staggers into a minefield.
