The New Bedlam Rest Home for the Emotionally Intereting, also known as New Bedlam Insane Asylum and New Bedlam Mental Hospital, is a mental institution in Springfield.
When Homer was declared insane for wearing a pink shirt to work, he was sent to New Bedlam. A straight-jacket from the institution was seen lying on the ground downtown. Duffman once brought up Homer's having been in a "loony bin".[1]
