The Particle Baton is a baton created by Professor Frink for capturing ghosts.
History
When Homer, Lenny, and Carl need a tool to capture ghosts the asked Professor Frink and he showed them The Particle Baton, a baton which is attuned to the frequency of the ghosts, which they used to subdue the apparitional individual.
