History
When Homer grew to colossus-size due to an experiment gone wrong, he went looking for things to eat. When he saw House-O-Donuts, he tore the giant donut off the roof and ate it.[1]
The shop was later closed while the rooftop donut was rebuilt. During that time, it was the scene of the final showdown between Bartman and The Penalizer.[2]
Trivia
- The donut on top of the building resembles the one on Randy's Donuts.
- The donut is also similar to the one Homer uses to anchor the monorail in "Marge vs. the Monorail"
