Episode Information
|
"Clown In The Dumps" is the upcoming season 26 premiere[1] episode that will air in September 28, 2014.[2]
Production
A major character who regularly teamed up with Bart will die in this episode.[3] The character would have appeared more than twice in the show and will be voiced by an Emmy Award-winning voice actor who won an Emmy for the role as the character. This will be the season 26 premiere. As Al Jean said[4], it won't be Edna Krabappel, due to Marcia Wallace's death[5] and Hank Azaria confirmed that it wasn't one of his characters.[6] It won't be Homer.[7] There will be a scene that will feature Lisa worrying about Homer's health as he struggles with a sleep mask.[7]
