Football (which initially aired in the United States of America on October 18, 1987) is the eleventh Simpsons short.
This episode centres on Homer and Bart's attempts to catch a football, and to offer him major reward for doing so. At one point, he dodges a fence, a ditch and Santa's Little Helper, before falling down the cliff in a cartoonish fashion.
Once more Bart attempts to catch the ball, but this time with Lisa and Maggie cheering him on. This time, Bart catches the ball. In his mouth. As he goes to pick up chocolate milkshakes, he still has the ball wedged in his mouth, but removes it when Homer threatens to eat his chocolate milkshake.
