The Olympic Torch is a symbol of the Olympic Games.
History[edit]
Lisa once asked the International Olympic Committee if they could put part of the route for the Olympic Torch through Springfield. The man in charge decided to bring the Olympic Games to Springfield instead of just the Torch.[1]
Homer once stole the Olympic Torch and was chased by a helicopter. The helicopter cop and helicopter pilot got the torch back after Marge threw it to them. However, they were so mesmerized by the flame that they crashed into a cliff and the flame went out.[2]
