The Itchy & Scratchy Show Episode Information
|
"The Great Brawl of China" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show. The episode is in Chinese with English subtitles.
Plot
Young Scratchy and his grandfather are slaves working in a rice paddy. Overseer Itchy, on horseback, orders Scratchy's grandfather to give him his hat, but he protests, saying he needs it to protect his head from the sun. Itchy draws a sword, cuts off Scratchy's grandfather's head, uses the sword to pick the hat up from off the head, and places the hat on his own head. As Itchy rides away, Young Scratchy shakes his fist and vows revenge.
Scratchy goes to the Meow-Lin Monastery, where he undergoes years of intense martial arts training with a cat master. Eventually he takes the S.A.T. (Shaolin Aptitude Test), and his scores indicate that he is "Ready for Vengeance".
Scratchy then journeys to Itchy's monastery to confront him. Itchy, who is now old, tells Scratchy to "Enter and die." The two of them fight, and Scratchy quickly gains the upper hand. Claws bared, Scratchy is about to kill Old Itchy when his cat master appears and tells him to remember that "The greatest weapon of all is mercy." Scratchy stays his hand, releases Old Itchy, and bows to his master, thanking him for freeing him from being enslaved by revenge. Scratchy's master says "Sucker!" and reveals himself to be Itchy's son in disguise. Itchy's son then restrains Scratchy's hands while Old Itchy draws a sword and cuts Scratchy into small pieces. Itchy's son catches the pieces of Scratchy in a bowl, and the two mice eat them with chopsticks made out of bones.
Trivia
- Scratchy is also served as Chinese food in "Moo Goo Gai Pain".
