Rolling Donut is a company which delivers donuts to Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.
History
After Homer tried for the first time to got a job at the nuclear plant but failed, he passed by there one morning and saw the Rolling Donut delivery truck arriving. Homer talked with the driver, and he told Homer that they got donuts in the all the colors of the rainbow. This made Homer jealous of the nuclear plant workers, and more determined to get a job at the plant.[1]
After Homer got a job at the nuclear plant, he finally got to eat the donuts, and his consumption came to play a significant role in Rolling Donut's business volume. However, he once went on a diet, and without Homer eating the donuts, they piled up in the plant's break room to the point where the Rolling Donut delivery driver asked what was going on. Carl told him that Homer had gone on a diet. The delivery driver said, in shock and dismay, "Oh my God, and I just bought a boat!"[2]
