Canada is a country in North America and the capital city is Ottawa. The Simpsons have visited Canada on several occasions. Canada was also the location of the Vancouver Winter Olympics where team Simpson-Skinner entered curling and won the gold medal. Canada is the largest country in North America, but is sparsely populated. Canada has 10 provinces: Alberta, New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scoita, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Brithish Columbia and Newfoundland. It also has 3 territories: Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and the Yukon Territory. The French-speaking province of Quebec has tried to gain independence from Canada because of its cultural differences from the rest of the country.
