However, most of the people who watched the film loved it, except [[Homer Simpson]]. As Mel and the movie executives were flying back to [[Hollywood]], Mel read through the feedback cards until he found one that didn't like the film. He then got [[John Travolta]] to turn the plane around so he could go and see Homer.

Elizabeth Hoover (commonly known as Miss Hoover) is a second grade teacher at Springfield Elementary School.

Miss Hoover has been worn down by her years in the public school system, and is not against drinking significant quantities of alcohol. She is very apathetic and bored with her job, and seems overwhelmed with stress, seeking whatever remedies she can to alleviate it.
