The Rockefeller Center is a large complex in New York City, owned by John D. Rockefeller Jr.

History[edit]

When Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera moved to New York City, Diego was hired by John D. Rockefeller Jr. to paint a mural for the Rockefeller Center. When the Rockefeller Center was opened, John Rockefeller announced that it was the tallest building for seven blocks. The mural was then revealed, and it had a picture of Vladimir Lenin in, which angered Rockefeller.
