Olympic pin of the mascot the Montreal Vampire

The 1976 Montreal Summer Olympics were an Olympics held in Montreal, Canada.

History[edit]

When Channel 6 sponsored a contest to pick a mascot for the Olympics that were going to be held in Springfield, Kent Brockman says that the mascot will join such other memorable mascots such as "the Atlanta Whatzit and the Montreal vampire."

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The Montreal Olympic mascot was actually a beaver, not a vampire as Kent claims.
