:Nope. "Behind the laughter" sections are real-world information, so "appearance" here refers to the actual flesh-and-blood people lending their voices or other talents to The Simpsons universe. Being mentioned in a comic story doesn't count. However, in the main body of the article, a one-line mention about Homer thinking that Pete Best was Marge's favorite Beatle would be right on the money. -- Mythigator (talk) 10:35, January 20, 2020 (EST)

:Wait, wait, wait. I just realized I didn't answer your question. (That's what comes of writing before I've had any coffee.) It would make sense to clarify that "everyone except John Lennon" refers specifically to the Fab Four, and also to add a bit about the "Fifth Beatles" (Pete Best et. al.) not having appeared. Pete Best's being mentioned in a comic still doesn't count as an appearance. Let me tend to part of the tidying up of the Btl section and then go have some coffee! -- Mythigator (talk) 10:48, January 20, 2020 (EST)

Behind the laughter section[edit]

It says John is the only Beatles member to not appear in the series, but there were actually more members than just the Fab Four. Most notably, Pete Best (who was mentioned in a comic) and Stuart Sutcliffe, and the rest include Tommy Moore, Chas Newby and Norman Chapman.
