Mr. McGrew's Christmas Carol is a seasonal cartoon starring a clumsy and selfish old man named Ebenezer McGrew.
In the film, Mr. McGrew told Bob Cratchett that he had to work on Christmas. However, McGrew was actually talking to his stovepipe oven, not realizing that Cratchett was behind him. McGrew then mistook the stovepipe oven for a pregnant woman and tried to listen to the baby's heartbeat, putting his head into the oven. Later, McGrew was visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past, who told him he was so selfish that his fiancée was about to leave him. McGrew said he didn't need love because he had money.
