Plot[edit]
Principal Skinner locks Bart in the Springfield Elementary School library, and he can only come out to do a book report. Mrs. Krabappel warns Skinner about what he's done, but he tells her that he knows what he's doing. Bart tries to escape from the library. He tests the ventilation, but Groundskeeper Willie is stuck. He tries to help him by giving him an audio recording of a book that he has made, but Bart doesn’t want his help. He then sees Milhouse, who gives up, writes his book report, and gives it to Skinner. Skinner gets a call from his mother, who wants him to come home soon because she needs help, so Skinner asks Bart to hurry up. Bart tries to escape through the skylight but falls and finds some books that turn out to be collections of Radioactive Man. Skinner gives up and releases Bart so he can go home but discovers that he locked himself in. Bart says he has lots of history of Radioactive Man to catch up on so he can write a 300-page book report, and that he loves libraries, much to Skinner's anger.
