When Todd was sick with the Osaka Flu, Ned wondered what the family had done to upset God. He then recalled watching Married... with Children.[1]

Dr. Babcock showed an episode of Married... with Children to the scientists at NASA to demonstrate what the average American enjoyed watching. The scene cut to Al Bundy refusing to make love with Peg, where he literally flushed a toilet positioned next to him in the living room.[2]
