Marge once joined The Cheery Red Tomatoes after being shunned by her friends after Homer got into a fight with the Easter Bunny for stealing the other children's Easter eggs to please Maggie. They appear to be based upon the Red Hat Society, a group that caters to women and is known for their red hats for members aged 50 and older. Women under 50 in the Red Hat Society have to wear pink hats. After a successful heist of Faberge eggs from Mr. Burns the group broke up and the members each went their separate way.[1]
In a coma dream that Bart had, the Cheery Red Tomatoes were on the wall of Ned Flanders' dead wives.[2]
