The Simpson Project is a Bart Simpson story that appears in Bart Simpson #50.
Plot
Milhouse and Bart spit on cars and get bored and make a visit to the dump where they take scrap metal home to Bart and they start to build a space rocket. Marge want to stop it but Lisa get her to let the boys be held.
Professor Frink comes along and starts to help with the rocket, also Barney do that. A TV crew going past the racket and interviewing Professor Frink who tells to the crew that they may be able to go to Mars.
When NASA finds out that they build a rocket to Mars and after then learn that Springfield has access to nuclear power they calling to Mr. Burns to get him to stop the project but he start to help the Simpson instead. NASA believes at the plant is included on the plans to go to Mars and react to the Pentagon, and they hoping that not are foreign terrorists behind the project. They hear to CIA who says that they already know about the project but after they hang up, they set up all resources to the procjet. A Russian spy hear about it tell their to his boss at there is a secret military launching pad into Springfield.
President Obama hears the news and say they he his tired of all the misery. In Springfield discover Marge and Lisa that the plot has been invaded by various authorities and media. When NASA gets there, they discover that the spaceship is not capable of flying and then the others also hear it and leave the family. Homer wants to speak out with Bart for the fraction and the family discover that Bart is disappeared, that because Bart and Milhouse has gone away for spit on cars.
