- "Bart the Daredevil" (7F06) - The first Fox and Global network broadcasts on December 6, 1990 were extensively cut and time compressed to make room for the "Do the Bartman" music video, which premiered after the closing credits. The full version was seen by Global viewers for the first time upon the episode's second showing on February 28, 1991. The second broadcast to Fox viewers, however, was cut again, this time Homer's second fall over the cliff included, to make room for news coverage. Fox finally broadcast the original version upon the episode's third air date - August 29, 1991.
- "Bart's Dog Gets an F" (7F14) - The first Fox and Global network broadcasts on March 7, 1991 were extensively cut and time compressed to make room for the "Deep, Deep Trouble" music video, which premiered after the closing credits. The full version was seen for the first time upon the episode's second showing on July 25, 1991 on both networks.
- "The War of the Simpsons" (7F20) - The third Fox network repeat on August 20, 1992 reportedly featured an extra scene not present in the first or second showings on May 2, 1991 and August 8, 1991 respectively. It is unknown whether this extra footage appeared at any time on the Global network.
- "Mr. Lisa Goes to Washington" (8F01) - The single Fox network repeat of this episode on December 12, 1991 reportedly featured an extra scene not present in the first network showing on September 26, 1991. It is unknown whether this footage appeared at any time on the Global network.
- "Homer Defined" (8F04) - In the first Fox network broadcast on October 17, 1991:
- Bart's retort to Milhouse is: "Bad influence, my ass!"
- Mr. Burns' dialogue when the plant is about to melt down is: "I guess there's nothing left but to kiss my sorry butt goodbye."
After receiving complaints, Fox ordered the producers to alter Bart's dialogue. The lines were changed to "Bad influence, my butt!" and "I guess there's nothing left but to kiss my sorry ass goodbye." respectively. This change was never made to Global's copy of the episode. The original dialogue appears in syndication.
- "Saturdays of Thunder" (8F07) - The first Fox and Global network broadcasts on November 14, 1991 were extensively cut and time compressed to make room for Michael Jackson's "Black or White" music video, which premiered after the closing credits. The full version was seen for the first time upon the episode's second showing on April 2, 1992 on both networks.
- "Lisa the Greek" (8F12) - At the request of the network, to coincide with their coverage of the NFL, Fox had various portions of this episode continually re-dubbed to match the current season's football team titles.

- "Treehouse of Horror IX" (AABF01) - Due to an error on Fox's behalf when pre-assembling the show's modern split-screen credits, Regis Philbin screaming, "My eyes! My beautiful eyes!" was not heard over the first broadcast's Gracie Films logo on October 25, 1998. The error was corrected for all Fox network repeat showings. All of Global's broadcasts were unaffected.
- "Mom and Pop Art" (AABF15) - The first Fox and Global broadcasts of this episode on April 11, 1999 excluded a poke at hostages, on behalf of the three US soldiers being held captive in Kosovo at the time. The scene appeared in all Fox and Global repeats, but did not appear in syndication.
