Yakkin' About the Movies is a movie review show.

History[edit]

The Simpson family was watching an episode of this show which reviewed the latest McBain movie. One reviewer called it "another shoot 'em up, push 'em through the plate-glass window, splatterfest from the Hollywood cookie cutter", then showed a "typical brainless scene". After the clip, the other reviewer said it was a "non-stop rollercoaster of chills, thrills, spills and kills". They then started arguing and insulting each other until the Simpsons' television broke.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Yakkin' About the Movies is a parody of the television series Siskel & Ebert: At the Movies. The two reviewers are caricatures of Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert.
