Christ the Redeemer (Portuguese: Cristo Redentor) is a giant statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

History[edit]

When the Simpson family first arrive in Brazil, Lisa spots it. Homer says it's like he's on the dashboard of the entire country.[1]

Homer, dressed as Duffman places with an helicopter a giant Duff Beer can on its hand for a commercial.[2]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

It is parodied in a giant statue of the Capital City Goofball overlooking Capital City.[3]
