History[edit]
Homer took the hammer with him when he and Bart visited the Edison Museum, then forgot about it and left it in an exhibit. Later that day, they found out on the news that Thomas Edison's heirs got the money for it after it was found at the exhibit and thought to be a previously undiscovered invention of Edison's. Homer was so angry that he lost control of his bodily functions; fortuitously, however, he was sitting on the Lazy Man Toilet Seat at the time.[1]
