Synopsis[edit]
Ned Flanders goes missing in the woods during a family camping trip. After three weeks, he is presumed dead but mysteriously reappears, interrupting his own memorial service. However, Ned is a changed man, acting completely unlike himself. Bart and Lisa find green ooze left behind by Flanders which soon turns up in newspapers. Rainier Wolfcastle reads about the ooze and jumps into action as he had previously seen this ooze after fighting a clone version of the mafia. With help from a mysterious informant, Bart, Lisa and Wolfcastle enter the woods where Ned went missing and are beamed on board a spaceship where they discover the real Ned being held in a hibernation state, the culprits reveal themselves: Kang, Kodos and...Sideshow Bob. The evil trio are defeated however and Ned returns home to his family while the informant watches on who is revealed to be the Ned clone. Deciding that Springfield is not big enough for two Ned Flanders, the clone walks off into the moonlight in the direction of New York
