Lisa Leslie played in the {{w|Women's National Basketball Association|WNBA}} for eleven seasons, from the league's inception in 1997 until she retired in 2009. She spent her entire WNBA career with the {{w|Los Angeles Sparks}} and finished holding league records in points, rebounds, and PRA (combined total of points, rebounds and assists). Leslie was also a member of the USA women's national basketball team, appearing in four consecutive Summer Olympic Games (1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008) and winning four gold medals.
