Don't Go There is a prime-time television sitcom.

History[edit]

When the kids of Springfield were forced to stay home after the Springfield Police Department declared a curfew, Bart and Lisa decided to watch prime-time TV. They came across the sitcom Don't Go There, which Bart disliked to the point of trying to smash the TV. Lisa stopped him in the act, however, and right after that the channel showed a commercial for the horror film The Bloodening, which was much more to Bart's liking.

Some days later when Homer and Marge were watching TV, Homer asked Marge if she was ready for another episode of Don't Go There. Marge responded by saying that she was "tired of that show", but she had been "hearing good things about Talk to the Hand". Thus, the couple decided to watch the latter instead.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Don't Go There appears to be a parody of the sitcom Friends, which originally aired from 1994 to 2004.
