In case anyone's wondering, I decided against making a separate article for the tow truck driver, for the following reasons:

#The driver only appears once, doesn't have any lines and all he does is hand Ned a repair estimate, which doesn't meet the "notoriety standard" for a character article.

#An article about the driver would be virtually identical to the one about Al's Towing, since we don't know anything about the driver that's distinct from what we know about the business (at least, not enough to warrant an article).

#We don't know what the driver's name is—there's no name tag, breast-pocket stitching, etc. that shows his name.

For those reasons, it made more sense to just make an article about the towing business. Even though only part of the back of the truck is visible in the frame, it's reasonable to infer that "Al's Towing" is the name of the business, and we '''do''' know enough about the business to make a good article. We've certainly made business articles on the basis of '''less''' information before. -- [[User:Mythigator|Mythigator]] 09:03, 3 February 2012 (EST)

Here's why no driver article[edit]

In case anyone's wondering, I decided against making a separate article for the tow truck driver, for the following reasons:

  1. The driver only appears once, doesn't have any lines and all he does is hand Ned a repair estimate, which doesn't meet the "notoriety standard" for a character article.
  2. An article about the driver would be virtually identical to the one about Al's Towing, since we don't know anything about the driver that's distinct from what we know about the business (at least, not enough to warrant an article).
  3. We don't know what the driver's name is—there's no name tag, breast-pocket stitching, etc. that shows his name.

For those reasons, it made more sense to just make an article about the towing business. Even though only part of the back of the truck is visible in the frame, it's reasonable to infer that "Al's Towing" is the name of the business, and we do know enough about the business to make a good article. We've certainly made business articles on the basis of less information before. -- Mythigator 09:03, 3 February 2012 (EST)

Seems reasonable enough to me, didn't really warrant a reasoning though :P Solar Dragon (Talk Contribs.) 10:06, 3 February 2012 (EST)
