TV Show Information
Genre: Movie review

Yakkin' About the Movies is a movie review show.

History

The Simpson family was watching an episode of this show which reviewed the latest McBain movie. One reviewer called it "another shoot 'em up, push 'em through the plate-glass window, splatterfest from the Hollywood cookie cutter", then showed a "typical brainless scene". After the clip, the other reviewer said it was a "non-stop rollercoaster of chills, thrills, spills and kills". They then started arguing and insulting each other until the Simpsons' television broke.

Behind the Laughter

Yakkin' About the Movies is a parody of the television series Siskel & Ebert & the Movies. The two reviewers are caricatures of Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert.
